Samrita Trust donated talking books for BA degree and Intermediate courses with suitable 200 CD players to blind students in colleges to create awareness and benefit of technology for blind students. Later 250 MP3 players were donated with talking books for DSC and Group II tests to help them to get jobs. Thus blind students realized the benefit of the talking books and asked for more courses and examinations.
Advances in digital technology resulted in making new devices, like DAISY players, smart phones with accessibility, free screen reader software for computers and laptops, Text books in braille accessible and usable by blind students for education and employability. Govt. of AP procured and issued large number of MP3 players and laptops to blind students in colleges, making technology available to them.
Results of blind students in schools and colleges improved significantly and many orologi replica blind students are completing courses like, BCom, BTech, MA, PhD, MBA and CA successfully.
Talking books for jobs donated by Samrita Trust helped many blind students to get jobs as POs and clerks in banks, and teachers and assistants in Govts of AP & T.
RRB notified 53 Group D posts reserved for Low Vision candidates. Last date for applications on line 12 March 2018.
