Andhra Pradesh Vikalangula Cooperative Corporation(APVCC), Government of Andhra Pradesh,has been an active partner of Samrita Trust since 2008.Realisingtheneed for assistive devices like, CD players, MP3 players with voice recorder and laptops, to utilize the talking books produced by Samrita Trust was accepted. Governmentof Andhra Pradeshsanctioned CD players/MP3 players and laptops to improve quality of education and employability of blind students in colleges and universities. From 2008 to 2015, APVCC purchased and distributed the following assistive devices:-

Telangana Vikalangula Cooperative Corporation(TGVCC) has been formed in June 2014, after bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. Based on the sanctions of Government of AP, TGVCC, during June 2014 to March 2015 distributed 50 MP3 players with voice recorders and 48 Laptops, costing Rs 14.5 lakhs to blind students in colleges. From April 2015, TGVCC has made plans to procure and distribute DAISY players and Laptops to blind students in colleges/universities to improve quality of education and employability. Regional Centre, National Institute for Visually Handicapped, Chennai, Government of India, has been a partner of Samrita Trust since 2012 to provide text books in braille to blind students in schools in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Samrita Trust converted to Braille the printed text books, from class 1 to 10, both Telugu and English medium, revised by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, and delivered the soft copies to NIVH, Chennai. NIVH, Chennai, embossed and distributed these text books in braille from class 1 to 10, for Telugu and English mediums, to blind students in exclusive and inclusive schools in AP & T. Since 2012, NIVH, Chennai spent a total of Rs 40 lakhs to emboss 30 lakh braille pages and distribute to blind students in AP & T.
